The Map of Meaning & The Virtues Project
Why you need both purpose and meaning in your work
Beyond coaching, I am a Global Certified Practitioner in The Map of Meaning since 2018,
a tool essential for fostering sense and meaning in personal and professional contexts.
A result of 20+ of research, that shows a clear way to make work and life meaningful.
Every one of us ask questions on meaning every day. Little questions and big questions. The Map of Meaning workshop offers a mirror for every participant, a reflection of our own deep knowing, a space for our own innate wisdom to arise. The Map of Meaning workshop space supports you to create actions and take practical steps towards that which is meaningful to you. When we become aware and clear about purpose and meaning at work and in life, it feels good, whole, resourced. We have a path ahead that feels purposeful, and meaning is on your radar. It feels like a great win when we have emerged from complexity or uncertain times.”

I had multiple coaching sessions with Lisa. She took me through the "map of meaning" which I found to be a helpful and powerful Modality. I gained alot of clarity around my purpose, values and which direction I wanted to move in.
The Virtues Project
Virtues are the inner strengths, the content of character which exist in all people. Virtues are the 'gifts withIN', guiding us to be our best, to give our best in relationships and be the truest expressions of our Selves. The intention behind an action.
Values are the behaviours by which a particular culture DEFINES a Virtue. Cultural virtues can be the same yet demonstrated differently. When we awaken these inner gifts, we can remember who we really are, live by our highest values and change the world.
The Language of the Virtues
When our words are 'weighty' (and they always are), we need to weigh our words. There are specific ways to speak the language of Virtues, that replace shaming and blaming with personal responsibility and respect.
We frame our language to bring out the best in each other, to bring forth, develop and support their flourishing and helps us to become the kind of people we want to be.
I became a The Virtues Project™ New Zealand Facilitator in 2024 after having first experienced the work of virtues in 2018. I acknowledg my teachers Margaret Mohammed (NZ) and Patti Jenkins (Canada).

The three founders of The Virtues Project are Linda Kavelin-Popov, Dr Dan Popov and John Kavelin who believe all children & therefore people are created with all the virtues in potential, which are found in every culture and spiritual belief system.

I have signed the Commitment to Excellence pledge with The Virtues Project worldwide, committed to integrity, trustworthiness, mindfulness and excellence in all undertakings and I am a facilitator member of the Oceania region.
